Curriculum

Someone asked yesterday what curriculum I used and I was quite surprised.  It never occurred to me that anyone would be interested in that.  But I thought it would be beneficial to go ahead and make a page for this, just in case anyone else ever asks or is curious.

Michael - 12th Grade
He's taking quite a school load this year!

Economics - Accelerated Christian Ministries  (½ credit)
Language Arts - Easy Grammar: 180 Lessons 12th grade  (1 credit)
Science - Apologia : The Human Body (1 credit) this will actually count as an elective for him, co-op class
Mathematics-
History - Exploring America by Ray Notgrass (3 credit course that covers History, Bible and an English credit)
Spanish- Rosetta Stone (1 credit)

Stephen - 9th grade

English - Easy Grammar: 180 Lessons 9th grade (1 credit)
Science - Apologia: Biology (1 credit) co-op class
Mathematics - Saxon Algebra 1 (1 credit) co-op class
History - SOS: Government & Economics (1 credit)
Bible- Mere Christianity and Bible (1 credit)
Spanish - Rosetta Stone (1 credit)
Piano - private lessons and daily study

Timothy - 6th grade

English - Easy Grammar Grade 6
Mathematics - Math-u-see: Zeta
Science - Apologia: Exploring Creation with Anatomy and Physiology
History - Story of the World (and Mystery of History vol I)

Logic and Memory - To be determined (Josh has a learning disability so I'm still searching for something to fit his particular needs)
Latin/Greek - English from the Roots Up Volume 1 (and possibly volume 2)
Spelling - All About Spelling Volume 1 and maybe 2
Reading - Word Mastery: A Course in Phonics for the First Three Grades (FREE off the net...published in 1913 and teaches the same phonics that used to be taught before schools decided to dumb down their reading curriculums, which resulted in the English language not making sense, since there are so many perceived "exceptions" that don't follow the "easy" rules of today)
Piano- private lessons, daily study

Science - the great outdoors and what ever she picks up by being in the room with us as we read our curriulum outloud together.
